Multi-Agency Service Park for Montgomery County, Maryland

The Montgomery County Multi Agency Service Park, East Side Project Construction is completed.  The major design build project which was awarded to the Hensel Phelps team in June 2015, included MEP Designs Inc. as the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineers. The project will provide new residence for the maintenance divisions of both the county public schools (MCPS) and the Maryland-National Planning & Parks Commission (MNCPPC).  The new facilities includes 6 new buildings; with total area exceeding 235,000-SF; in addition to covered parking and storage areas. MEP Designs engineers have recently completed LEED documentation for four buildings that are seeking different levels of certification.

Update: All four buildings in the MASP has achieved LEED-NC Silver Certification:

– 4A – MNCPPC & MCPS Main Building

– 4B – MNCPPC & MCPS Fleet Maintenance

– 4C – MNCPPC Horticultural Services Building

– 4D – MCPS Warehouse
